New Canon IPF printers are due to arrive at Road Mogul in about a month. They are an update of the large format printers aimed at Geographical Information System (GIS); Computer-Aided Design (CAD); Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC);  Reprographics; and other Technical Document printing markets. The Canon IPF650Canon IPF655 replace the IPF610 and include Gigabit Ethernet and internal HDD (IPF655 only).  The A0 Canon IPF710 is superseded by the IPF750 and Canon IPF755 replace the Canon IPF720.

Here are some of the new features on the Canon IPF 750 and Canon IPF 7550:

  • Reactive ink and new magenta ink
  • Faster prints  A0 in 48 seconds vs Canon iPF710 56 seconds
  • Updated economy print mode
  • Stackable output tray
  • Sub-ink tank for uninterrupted printing
  • HP/GL2 & RTL compatible with HDI diver as standard
  • 80GB Hard Disk (iPF755)
  • eMaintenance and accounting software included
  • Microsoft Office plug-in
  • colour emulation for existing Canon and HP printers
  • Update design smaller more compact/lightweight design
  • NEW Simple front loading roll feeding system and Top Loading media
