This scanner is suitable for small workgroups or small offices. It scans at 12ppm A4 colour, greyscale or black and white. This scanner has a flat bed scanning unit and an automatic document feeding unit so it will scan both standard documents and non standard documents such as books and bound or fragile documents.

The DR-1210C has an advanced automatic document feeder and the pad- separation facility prevents double sheet feeding. There is also a jam release lever so that if paper gets fed in wrongly it can be easily retrieved.

Maintenance of this scanner is minimal and it has a life expectancy of a massive 100,000 scans using the auto document feeder and 20,000 through the flat bed unit. The unit is very compact and will take up very little space in the office/home. It measures 471mm long x 380mm wide and with its simple to use control buttons and 50 sets of settings the DR1210C is comparable to any in its class.
